Beautiful ride on a crisp late fall day, XOOM air and bright sunlight already turning that kind of white you also get in winter time. The first leg not on this route was a straight shot drive on Rte. 7 and that is quite nice as well, with a nice view coming through Williams Pass and mostly well behaved traffic on a clean 2 line state road mostly separated from the oncoming direction.
