Starting at Spoke'n Hostel in Mitchell, travel up 207 over Donnelley Grade (twisting road with extraordinary landscapes) to Service Creek. East on 19 along the John Day river. Pop in at the Lone Elk Market in Spray, continue South and East to Cathederal Rock, Sheep Rock, and the Thomas Condon Paleo Center. Turn west on 26 and ride through the rugged and beautiful Picture Gorge. Open up on the flat near Antone, and head to Tiger Town Brewing in Mitchell.
