Eastern Carinthia may be lesser-known, but it's no less thrilling to ride. Here in Lavanttal, we navigate through lush orchards, winding country roads, and passes, including the tri-border region of Carinthia-Italy-Slovenia. Starting right from your doorstep, enjoy quaintly picturesque Carinthian lake tours and day trips to Grossglockner and the upper Adriatic. Weinesbene, Nockalm, and Kippitztörl are just a few highlights of the endless selection of routes in this mecca of curves around Lavanttal. Far from sleepy, the holiday in the Wolfsberg-Lavanttal motorcycle region is a delight on all levels—lush orchards, impressive Austrian mountain roads, and alpine-Mediterranean adventures in Italy or Slovenia. The motorcycle holiday motto here is clear: Enjoyable deceleration with plenty of bike flow and slow food.
Austria to the north, Italy to the south - we find ourselves right in between in the Gailtal valley. From here, we embark on tours in all directions: Head south via Nassfeld or Plöckenpass into Italy's pass paradise, while to the west, the pristine Lesachtal awaits. Head north into the expansive Austrian landscapes with Kreuzbergsattel, Gailbergsattel, or Weissensee. In the east, explore Wörthersee and beyond. The Carnic Dolomites Road is a must-ride here, and of course, don't miss out on Carinthian cheese dumplings!

With highlights right in front of our whells like the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, the Nockalm Road, and the Malta High Alpine Road, the Möll Valley riding area has plenty of must-see spots. Plus, there are diverse routes heading south into Slovenia, Friuli, or the South Tyrolean Dolomites, and west to the smaller neighboring East Tyrol. How about ending the day with a sundowner at one of the country's warmest lakes?
