We have a new goodie for you! May we present: The tour of the month, which we will put online regularly in cooperation with Björn Thiele from WorldofBikers.de.
This tour takes you from Nistertal in the Westerwald over the Moselle and Rhine through the region's most beautiful spots.
After starting in Nistertal, we find the first exciting twisties on the route heads towards the cities Selters and Bendorf. From Bendorf, it goes back up to Isenburg, in which's town center you can find one of Germany's oldest biker pubs. Follow the narrow and winding sections up to Thalhausen, then go back down towards Neuwied, which offers a fantastic view. In Neuwied, it's a brisk ride along the main road over the Rhine and on into the Eifel region; we pass by the volcanic lake Maria Laach and the old Benedictine monastery. The abbey was founded in 1093 and impressed with its six-tower basilica and the magnificent west entrance, which is also called Paradise. 😇
From there, it goes in the direction of Cochem with a view of the St. Martin church. From Cochem, the Moselle panorama leads through picturesque scenery up to Metternich. We bypass the city of Koblenz to enjoy the twists and spectacular views of the Moselle, as well as the Hoch-Hunsrück road, which then leads us to the banks of the Rhine.
Continuing in the direction of Bad Ems, the tour ends with a ride through the Gelbachtal, another highlight of the Westerwald, back to Nistertal.
