A curvy adventure

In cooperation with MoHo, we are excited to share highlights, tips and recommendations in Trentino, Italy. Find out a real insider's tip for motorcycle travel at the end of the article!

It's time to start the motorcycling season with a breathtaking tour.

South Tyrol is calling! Characterized by magnificent mountain lakes and Italy's largest lake, Lake Garda, you are sure to fall in love with the curves along the Strada del Menador around Lago di Garda in Trentino. The best way to start the biking season!

Next stop: Lake Garda

Probably the most famous place in Trentino: Lake Garda, also known as Lago di Garda. In addition to its great scenery, it also inspires motorcyclists with its relaxed ambience and lifestyle, cultural enjoyment and, last but not least, its alpine-Mediterranean cuisine! You'll immediately fall under its spell while visiting any of the towns along the shore. If you want to avoid the crowds in the summer months, you can take the winding roads to the nearby local mountains – the perfect escape for motorcyclists. Solo vantaggi!

From Sole Valley to the Paradise of the Passes

The area around Sole Valley is the best base for discovering well-known and even less known biking areas, not only in western Trentino. You can also reach the neighboring Lombardy, the Gavia Pass, Livigno, Bormio, the Stelvio Pass and Switzerland in no time via the Tonale Pass. Head east over the Mendel Pass into the South Tyrolean wine region and further into the Dolomites.
The touring options across the Brenta Dolomites to Lake Garda are particularly exciting. The well-known saying "Once you've been to Lake Garda, you're sure to come back." may sound a bit cheesy, but it's 99 percent true! This is especially true for motorcyclists, who discover a wide range of exciting tours here. Finish your round trip by passing Lake Iseo and the Bergamo Alps.

From the northern curves to the sea

The Pala Group belongs to the Dolomites and is the most characteristic mountain range of this region. Towards the north, it is surmounted by the Rolle Pass and towards the east the Cereda Pass leads to the province of Belluno or the Veneto region. In the other directions the Gobbera Pass, the Brocon Pass and other exciting passed can be found. You can expect a lot of curvy, well-maintained and yet little-traveled roads.
You prefer the south and would like to breathe some sea air? Well, all you need to do is leave the mountains for a short day trip by motorcycle - Venice, only about 100 km (62 miles) away, is definitely worth a visit!
